St. Dorothea of Caesarea - print/poster

Saint Dorothy/Dorothea was a 4th-century virgin martyr who was killed for her faith at Caesarea Mazaca (modern-day Kayseri, Turkey). 

While she was being tortured and tried, the mockery from a pagan lawyer resounded with a, «O Bride of Christ, send me some fruits from your bridegroom's garden!» and God answered with yellow carnations, grapes and bleeding pomegranates.

The Virgin Martyrs have such an important place in my heart. Something in me dies every time they are reduced to purity culture vessels. This St. Dorothea is filled with righteous anger, and that is still holy.
